Kentucky Route Zero is an indie episodic point and click adventure game, developed and published by Cardboard Computer, an independent studio consisting of Jake Elliott and Tamas Kemenczy. To acquire sufficient funding for the game, the project was first revealed on crowdfunding website Kickstarter to reach a goal of US$6,500, and successfully exceeded the goal, acquiring $8,583. It went into development and released a trailer on October 17, 2012. The game is separated into five Acts, following the narrative of a truck driver named Conway and the mysterious people he meets as he tries to cross the fictional Route Zero to deliver some products from the furniture company for which he works.

One night she decides to end her life, but this leads her to explore a strange place in death where she encounters the Queen of Maggots, who makes her immortal and gives her the task of ridding the world of five psychopaths referred to as the "parasites." Susan then returns to the world of the living to wake up in a hospital bed, and is soon forced to carry out her task. Along the way, she meets Mitzi, a young woman with cancer, hoping to find an internet troll.

The game deals with mature themes such as depression, suicide, and loneliness, but also provides moments of humor and hope.

The ending of the game is slightly modified based on players choices.

The album's sole feature comes from Bryan Ferry, the lead singer of Roxy Music, on a cover of Robert Palmer's "Johnny and Mary".

The album's cover art was designed by Bendik Kaltenborn who also designs illustrations for The New Yorker magazine; his illustrations often complement the humor column, "Shouts & Murmurs," and the event listings in the beginning of the magazine. Terje became acquainted with Kaltenborn about ten years ago in a branch of the Dutch chain Free Record Shop, where they were both working, and quickly bonded over what Kaltenborn calls "crazy nonsense stupid humor."

Watch Dogs is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective. Players complete missions—linear scenarios with set objectives—to progress through the story. Outside of missions, players can freely roam the open world of Chicago. In the game, players take control of a vigilante named Aiden Pearce, who can hack into various electronic devices tied to the city's central operating system (CtOS), allowing various methods for the player to solve numerous objectives. The hacking mechanic in the game is performed directly from Aiden's in-game smartphone, which is equipped with multiple applications, namely the "profiler" and the "crime prevention system"; the former allows the player to access information on any citizen in the city, while the latter notifies the player when a crime is likely to occur in the vicinity. The phone is also equipped with applications that interact directly with the environment around the player; for example, players can hack into NPC's phones to retrieve bank data and steal funds, or they can hack into traffic lights to cause collisions. Players can also receive information on civilians via augmented reality feeds, providing them with information on demographics, health and potential behaviour.

Richard Hendriks is a shy, reclusive programmer for Hooli (a large corporation) living in a house in Palo Alto. He lives there under an "incubation" program run by Erlich Bachman. Bachman, despite possessing the confidence that Hendriks lacks, seeks parties and drug use rather than offering sound guidance for his startups after he sold his application "Aviato". He resides along with other co-habitants including Nelson "Big Head" Bighetti (a coworker at Hooli), Bertram Gilfoyle, and Dinesh Chugtai. While working at Hooli, Hendriks shares a project of his called "Pied Piper" with the employees: an app that compares music against copyrighted works to avoid infringement. Initially the app was dismissed as a lark by his coworkers. He tries pitching it to Peter Gregory, an eccentric venture capitalist who awkwardly dismisses him. Hendriks ends up pitching the app to Monica (Gregory's assistant) instead. Hooli CEO Gavin Belson is informed about the project by Donald "Jared" Dunn. The app is found to be powered by an algorithm (said to be similar to chirplet transform) designed by Hendriks that has more value than the program: it offers higher compression ratios than MP3 yet remains lossless.

Having acquired substantial amounts of scientific knowledge over the years, the vampire has managed to build contraptions to power both his home and vintage sports car with technology originally pioneered by Nikola Tesla. Despite his reclusive nature, he is immensely wealthy and remains a popular musician. His many fans endlessly speculate about his whereabouts and real identity. Adam is horrified when a few of them turn up on his doorstep one night having figured out his address. He ignores them and they go away.

"Tether" was accompanied with an interactive website that acted as a sort of music video that could be mutated by mouse and keyboard input from the user. Plaid continued marketing this track by releasing the stems and initializing a remix contest, the winner of which would receive a package of most of their releases on vinyl records as well as a MIDI instrument that would be used in live performances of the album.

Trama

The beginning credits sequence shows the preparation and detonation of a nuclear bomb at Bikini Atoll. A huge figure with jagged spikes rises from the water when the bomb is detonated.

In 1999, scientists Ishiro Serizawa (Ken Watanabe) and Vivienne Graham (Sally Hawkins) are called to a quarry in the Philippines where a colossal skeleton and two egg-shaped pods have been discovered, one having hatched, and something has escaped to the sea. In Janjira, Japan, just outside of Tokyo, Japan, the Janjira nuclear plant starts experiencing seismic activity. Plant supervisor Joe Brody (Bryan Cranston) sends his wife Sandra (Juliette Binoche) and a team into the core to look for damage. As the team makes its inspection, an explosion occurs, threatening to release radiation to the outside. Sandra and her team are not able to escape, and the plant collapses into ruin. The disaster, attributed to an earthquake, results in the evacuation and quarantine of the Janjira area.

He decides to abandon his family, with whom he planned to watch an important football match, as well as his job, in order to drive to London to be with Bethan during childbirth. The movie consists entirely of scenes of Locke in his car, phoning his boss and a colleague to ensure that the pour is successful, phoning his wife Katrina (Wilson) to confess his infidelity, and phoning Bethan to reassure her during her labour. Locke's decision is revealed to be a reaction to his own father, who abandoned him as a child and who he did not meet until he was in his early twenties. Over the course of the two hour drive to London, he is fired from his job and kicked out of his house by his wife, but his sons insist that he return home soon, he talks his assistant Donal (Scott) through preparing the pour despite several major setbacks, and -- as he finally reaches his destination -- learns of his child's successful birth.

Ma pensa te....strano. Sembrerebbe che lo sbattimento di cercare roba pezzotta sia diventato troppo elevato. Ma questo da cosa è dovuto? Da sempre più servizi gratuiti o prossimi al "gratuitamento" (Accademia della Crusca non ti temo)? Youtube, Spotify, Humble Bundle/Steam...maddai anche GameStop fa il suo lavoro dai...ormai tutto è a portata. Tutto è quasi gratuito se si ha pazienza. Tranne la dignità. Quella non ha valore. E quindi la vera domanda è: c'è stato un momento nella vostra vita in cui avete avuto un'epifania? Upon introducing her Guest Mix, "en medio," Lucrecia Dalt left a number of clues concerning the role of film in her music. Through describing its placement in the mix and the impact certain classics had on her third album, Syzygy, she explained that "these movies became the external shifter elements, the vectors of disorientation, guides to other moods." As opposed to subjective depictions of scenes or images that the Colombian musician may have found affecting, their association had more to do with subtle characteristics, calculated movements, and the camera's direction, all of which pointed Dalt toward a modified space, a new way of seeing. Her technique allowed for realigning compositional objectives while investigating the environmental adjustments that effected the sound quality — Syzygy was recorded in Dalt's Barcelona apartment, which was so close to the metro line that she was forced to work at 04:30 AM to avoid outside interference. The resulting tracks expose a range of textures and emotions, a consequence of interrupted sleep patterns and an intriguing approach to the films that influenced the musical arrangements.
